July 31, 2010 will find our local Beat the Heat member David Tanner traveling to Ardmore Dragway in Ardmore Oklahoma. There'll be some stiff competition as more than 25 Beat the Heat members will be competing! If you're in the area, stop by and check them out. Wish Tanner some good luck!!
On Aug 5, Beat the Heat will be at Meadowview Elementary School in the evening for National Night Out. We have participated with Meadowview several years in a row and always look forward to coming out and supporting the neighborhood. Stop on by to sit in one of our cars, bring your camera, get a sticker and say Hi! We look forward to seeing you!
On Spetember 18, 2010 we will be having our World Finals at Tulsa Raceway Park in Tulsa Oklahoma. Looks like there is going to be a really large crowd of Beat the Heat members. There will also be two JET Police Cars sucking up the oxygen and producing a lot of horsepower!! If you think one jet car is loud-just wait until you hear and feel two! Mythbusters showed that if you have a car fast enough you can outrun a speed or redlight camera. Try outrunning a Jet Police Car! Make sure to bring ear plugs!!
